Established in 1960, Greendale Playschool, Inc. is an independent,
non-profit preschool that provides a pleasant, well-supervised environment
making the transition from home to school a rewarding experience for both
children and families.
Greendale Playschool has operated within the Greendale Community Church
building since the school's inception. Although Playschool is not affiliated with
the church, the school was started by a group of Greendale Community
Church mothers. Playschool operates independently of the church and is
governed by the Greendale Playschool Board of Directors.
The school has grown with the community and continually evaluates its
programs to provide the best educational foundation for students.
Greendale Playschool proudly employs all college-degreed teaching
professionals. Our teachers bring with them years of commitment and an
invaluable variety of experiences. The tenure of a majority of our current
teachers is 19 or more years with the school.
Our teachers educational background, practical experience and passion has
helped to create a solid foundation for a successful academic career for
thousands of Southeastern Wisconsin children.
