Not only as a parent, but also after a career in K-12 Public education as a teacher and a
principal and now as an adjunct professor of teachers completing their master’s degree in
education, I was careful about the child development program in which I would enroll my
twins. Playschool was a very good choice. Their attention to the mental, physical, emotional
and social development of children was balanced and satisfied my concerns regarding
preparation for the next step toward K-12 education. The girls looked forward to each and
