Our Updated Health & Wellness Policies

Taking Precautions to Keep Our Students and Families Safe

The health and safety of our families and students couldn't be more important to us! The staff at Greendale Playschool has been working closely with the Greendale Health Department and the Department of Children and Families to create a safe and healthy learning environment. With their guidance, we have created a list of guidelines we will be using to keep your student happy and well this school year.

These guidelines include:

  • Smaller class sizes - limiting your child and your family's risk of exposure.

  • New arrival and pick-up protocols to maximize social distancing guidelines and minimize exposure.

  • Increased hand-washing opportunities to decrease contact risk.

  • Disinfecting and cleaning sessions between classes to lessen exposure.

  • Individualized classroom supplies to reduce risk of contact.

  • Health checks for students and teachers upon arrival.

  • Decreased use of shared spaces, allowing children to stay within the safety of their classroom environment.

  • Observing appropriate social distancing during large group activities.

  • Discontinued use of parent volunteers, reducing the number of adults in our facility at any one time.
