Taking Precautions to Keep Our Students and Families Safe
Enhanced Health & Wellness Policies
The health and safety of our families and students couldn't be more important to us! The staff at Greendale Playschool has been working closely with the Greendale Health Department and the Department of Children and Families to create a safe and healthy learning environment. We have created a list of guidelines to keep our students happy and healthy this school year.
These guidelines include:
-
Outside arrival and pick-up
-
Increased hand-washing opportunities
-
Increased disinfecting and cleaning
-
Masking requirements for teachers, parents and staff entering and exiting the building and in hallways
-
Discontinued use of shared spaces
-
Observing appropriate social distancing during large group activities.
-
Pre-packaged birthday treats and individual water bottle protocols
-
Discontinued use of parent volunteers (revisit this monthly)
-
Classrooms disinfected with UV light daily
Please keep your child home if they have any COVID-19 symptoms:
*Fever or chills * Cough
*Shortness of breath * Fatigue
* Body aches *Heachache
*Loss of taste or smell *Sore Throat
*Congestion or runny nose *Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
